What we store
Your account details, the IOUs you create, your payment schedules, the activity you log, your notification preferences, and any goal photo you upload. Amounts shown are self-reported by you. iomi does not connect to your bank and cannot confirm balances.
What we never touch
iomi is not a bank, lender, or money transmitter. iomi never holds, moves, or verifies your money. We do not ask for bank credentials, account numbers, or card details, and we never initiate transfers.
Goal photos
Photos are stored privately. They are visible only to you through short-lived links, and they are deleted along with the IOU or your account.
Sharing a goal
Sharing is off until you switch it on for a specific IOU. A shared page shows only the goal's photos, its name, the reason you wrote for it, how far along you are as a percentage, and how many payments you have made. It never shows your name, your email, any dollar amount, your dates, or your payment history. Switching sharing off breaks the old link immediately.
We send only the reminders and summaries you turn on, plus essential account emails such as sign-in and password resets. You can change or switch off reminders in Settings at any time, and every reminder tells you how to stop receiving it.
Articles and usage
Blog articles are public and require no account. We record a small number of anonymous product events (for example, that an IOU was created) so we can see which parts of iomi help. We do not sell data or run third-party advertising trackers.
Export and deletion
You can export your data as CSV and permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, IOUs, activity, and photos.
Partner offers
Some savings options are partner offers. iomi may earn a commission if you open an account. iomi does not provide financial advice, and rates shown are provided by partners and may change. We never share your personal data with partners.
